It is becoming more and more common to find scammers in Bizum who seek to deceive possible victims and we are going to show you one of the most effective tricks.

This is not the first time that we have published information about scam attempts at Bizum. This application to transfer money is increasingly used and not all people take the proper precautions. In addition, there is an important problem: you cannot cancel the transfers made.

This circumstance has caused that there are those who seek to take advantage of other people and the most common way of contacting is being through sales pages such as Milanuncios. The Local Police of Medina Sidonia has shared on social networks an attempted deception that has been recorded.

In the two and a half minute video you can see all the steps followed by the scammer trying to confuse the seller of a motorcycle. He says that he is going to send her a signal as a reserve of the vehicle before going after her, but in reality the objective is the opposite.

The possible victim receives a request whose purpose is not to obtain money, but send from your account 500 euros to the scammer. In reality, he is requesting money from you and tries to trick you with messages such as that he has to “pay €500 in concept of paying €0.02”.

As you can imagine, the concept has nothing to do with the order itself, because what is being validated is paying 500 euros. This is a detail that must always be taken into account: the concept has no implication on the movement that is made.

In the recording you can also see how the scammer hangs up straight away when he realizes his attempt is not going to be successful. This does not mean that it has not been achieved with other victims, as it is a widely used payment platform and has a strategy that can confuse some people.
