Blizzard is looking for a job posting for developers who want to help shape a whole new universe. The project for which support is being sought is a survival game that is currently still running under the simple name Unannounced Survival Game. A tweet from the Blizzard president could also mean that work on the title is more advanced.

It’s all about this: With the Unannounced Survival Game, WoW and Diablo developer Blizzard ventures into the survival genre for the first time. Since the official announcement is still pending, there is not too much information yet, but from the text of the vacancy, two first pictures and tweets from the Blizzard team, a few things can already be read out. For example, we know that this is a whole new universe.

The first picture probably shows the fantastic and normal present world: In one image we see two people wearing normal contemporary everyday clothes who have apparently ridden into the forest on a bicycle leaning against a rock not far from them. You are looking through an arch of trees and rocks, which is believed to be a portal, as a castle can be seen in the clouds beyond.

The different impressions of the surroundings on this side and on the other side of the passage point to two worlds. In addition, the two people depicted suggest that we can play in online co-op. So far there is no indication of a single player campaign.

Second image looks like classic fantasy: The second image (seen at the top of the article) shows a woman in the forest wearing unusual armor. She is fur-trimmed and the helmet is reminiscent of a wolf’s head. A mirror can also be seen on the far right of the picture.

Ybarra’s words not only reinforce the suspicion that the cooperative multiplayer experience is in the foreground. The statement that he has already played for many hours could also indicate that the development of the game is well advanced and we can expect the official announcement soon. The title will appear for PC and unspecified consoles.
