Twitch banned one of the most well-known German streamers in 2020 – now Flying Uwe is suddenly back

In May 2020, one of the largest German streamers on Twitch was permanently banned from the platform. It’s about Uwe “Flying Uwe” Schüder (34), who violated the guidelines almost 2 years ago and was therefore expelled from the platform forever – actually. Because now, on January 26, he was suddenly unbanned again.

Why was the streamer banned?

  • Flying Uwe was often called by an anonymous number in a live stream. The live stream broke off again and again due to these calls.
  • The streamer got so angry that he savagely verbally abused and threatened the caller. The calls stopped after that.
  • With the threats and insults, however, Uwe Schüder violated the Twitch guidelines and was thus permanently expelled from the platform.
  • Flying Uwe then lodged an objection, but Twitch rejected the objection. His Twitch colleague MontanaBlack described the ban as a “mindfuck” for Schuder and hoped that his colleague could return to Twitch.

The unbanning of Flying Uwe out of nowhere

After almost 2 years, the site split up StreamerBans Twitter Suddenly the following message: “Twitch partner “flyinguwe87″ was unbanned after 1 year, 8 months and one week.” Twitch itself has not yet commented on the spontaneous decision.

Although Flying Uwe was actually permanently banned, he is now allowed to stream again on the platform. He himself can hardly believe it and even forgot his twitch name in the excitement:

Among the tweets, congratulations and predominantly happy reactions to the unbanning of the then large German streamer rained down. After all, he was able to inspire an average of between 1,300 and 2,100 viewers on Twitch and has over 1 million subscribers on YouTube.

Here are the reactions below the tweets:

  • Jeff also celebrates: “Finally! It is about time. I’m happy for you.”
  • mondzahn hopes for streams soon: “Omg, soon ‘Mario Kart’ streams?”

Speaking of “Mario Kart” streams: his colleague MontanaBlack is also looking forward to it in public Twitter about the unban. He welcomes him back into it. The two have often streamed Mario Kart together in the past.

The audience can look forward to a comeback. In any case, Flying Uwe has not yet said how he wants to continue now and whether he will even start streaming on Twitch again. So that remains to be seen.
