And it is that, with macOS 12.3 Monterey, it seems that the operating system is being adapted to include support for ultra broadband connections in a similar way to the one present in devices such as the iPhone. This gives some clues about what the future Mac computers that we will soon see could be like.

macOS 12.3 Monterey beta code includes support for ultra broadband technology

As we mentioned, according to shared 9to5mac, reviewing the code of the first beta of macOS 12.3 Monterey, it has been discovered that it has included the frameworks and the daemons to support ultra broadband connections. This corresponds to the operation of said technology in the background, in a very similar way to what is included in the iOS code for iPhones.

The first time we saw ultra-wideband technology at Apple was with the iPhone 11, the first to incorporate the U1 chip. This allows you to create a kind of network between Apple devices, which allows you to activate and use functions such as AirDrop, CarKey or AirPlay in a much faster way. In addition, it greatly improves the accuracy of the Search network, which is also very interesting.
