After Elden Ring and Horizon: Which games are you still looking forward to in 2022?

The gaming year 2022 got off to a really strong start with Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Kirby, Lego Star Wars and many other games. But as colleague Eleen shows in her preview of the coming months, there are still all sorts of extremely promising hits in the starting blocks across genres. That’s why we’re really interested in which one is at the top of your personal wish list.

Your Most Wanted 2022

We had already asked you the Most Wanted question at the end of 2021 and Forbidden West (23%), God of War: Ragnarök (22%) and Elden Ring (16%) were clearly ahead.

A few months later, many games from the survey, such as Gran Turismo 7 and Dying Light 2, have already been released and titles such as the Zelda: Breath of the Wild successor will now be released in 2023 at the earliest after being postponed still looking forward to a long game year.

Games to choose from: In order to limit the survey, we have picked what we believe are the 25 biggest upcoming highlights of the GamePro community. However, if you are looking forward to a completely different game, please let us know in the comments.

“Um … you forgot Silksong!!!”

So that there is no misunderstanding: Of the 25 games, we only chose those where the developer had confirmed an official release for 2022.

A Hollow Knight: Silksong or the PS5 and Xbox Series version of The Witcher 3, which was postponed indefinitely yesterdayunfortunately do not count.

The last sign of life from Silksong dates back to December 2020 when the game received a feature in Edge magazine. Since then there has been silence – apart from the usual GamePro running gag at upcoming Nintendo Direct events.
