Pokémon Legends Arceus: Get an Alpha Shiny with a new easy method

Poke Pros have discovered a new shiny hunting method.

As in all other Pokémon RPGs, shiny specimens are extremely rare in Legends: Arceus. The basic chance of encountering a Shiny Pokémon is just 1:4096. But clever foxes have already devised one or the other effective method that makes it easier to catch Shiny Pokémon. The latest hunting method is almost ridiculously simple (via Dexerto).

This is how the Alpha Shiny method works

The below method discovered and explained by Youtuber astephen68with a bit of perseverance, you’ll even get a dazzling alpha Pokémon.

• Find a Massive Mass Outbreak on the map and travel there.
• It is important that during the Massive Mass Outbreak a must spawn static alpha Pokémon. If none spawn, look for another Outbreak.
• Since you arrived at your selected Massive Mass Outbreak, then now defeat or catch all Pokemon that are in the Alpha spawn location.
• After the message appears telling you that all Pokemon are gone, stand near the alpha Pokemon’s spawn point and save the game.
• You can probably already guess what’s coming next: Restart the game. The Alpha Pokémon should now appear near you. Repeat the soft reset until the alpha mon spawns as shiny.

This is how you secure yourself a guaranteed shiny

But there is an even easier way, at least for one example: Have you secured your Shiny Ponyta yet? Simply play side mission 19 “Rare Ponya Spotted”, which has said dazzling Pokémon ready for you as a reward. You can simply catch it during the mission and you can keep it at the end without having to spend a long time looking for it.
