Destiny 2 Twitch streamer says: A millionaire fell in love with her, now she’s ruining her

Twitch streamer MsKenner (Destiny 2) says she’s in real trouble right now: She had a wealthy benefactor, allegedly a rock star, who had been giving her hefty sums on and off for a long time. But that is now proving to be a big problem. Because the millionaire now wants his money back after the streamer didn’t want to hook up with him. But the streamer switches to rage mode and says: He chose the wrong one. She is not a pussy, she will fight.

Who is MsKenner on Twitch?

• MsKenner is an avid Destiny 2 gamer and streams on Twitch. Last year she showed almost only Bungie’s shooter: it totaled 1,140 hours. She’s on the air about 20 hours a week with Destiny 2 — she describes herself as a “full-time streamer.”
• MsKenner is a medium sized streamer. When it goes live, an average of almost 200 viewers watch it. Destiny 2 isn’t a huge hit on Twitch right now – it ranks 37th among Destiny 2 streamers worldwide, with the big names at the top: PvP junkie GernaderJake, the terribly bearded Gladd, and the smartass and perpetually unlucky Datto .
• In March 2021, MsKenner was also in the community focus at Bungie: She said her name was Jessica, she was married, had 2 children, lived in Louisiana and loved bananas. She also sings all day – sounds like a carefree life (via bungie). At least until recently.

Millionaire kept sending her “crazy sums”.

What’s your situation? The streamer says on Twitter:

• For a long time there was a person in her chat on Twitch who constantly gave her gifts. It was downright crazy. He sent her a lot of money via PayPal, Twitch and other platforms.
• Supposedly he was a millionaire and you could easily have found out via Google that he was a size in the music industry, a kind of rock star. However, she did not want to reveal the man’s name so as not to provoke him further.
• The streamer was unsuspecting and thought she just got really lucky with this fan.

MsKenner, as her fans know her: With her favorite game Destiny 2. She reacts to a cutscene:

Patron turns into “dangerous psycho”, wants money back, threatens “doxxing”

Then what went wrong? One day, however, the rich patron explained that he had a “romantic interest” in her. But she refused and turned him down. Then he basically said:

“That was a lot of money I sent you. You knew I had a crush on you. You lied to me – now I want it all back.”

The patron then began contesting his Paypal transactions, which threw the streamer thousands of dollars into the crooks.

She says she fights him all the time now. The donor would always file their dispute on past transactions on Friday, so it would weigh on her all weekend and she wouldn’t be able to appeal the chargeback until Monday. However, these objections would be of no use because the money came from “Family & Friends” and PayPal often decides in favor of the donor.

The streamer says:

• It’s been like this for months – now the donor has also started to reverse the donations via Twitch
• Her income on Twitch is now negative – she doesn’t know how many challenges are yet to come and if Twitch will ever rule in her favour
• She’s now wondering how long she’ll have to go “without a check from Twitch.”

The alleged benefactor goes even further and has threatened to sue her for “romantic fraud” if she doesn’t pay him back $5,000. He accuses her of taking the money even though she knew he had a crush on her. She deceived him and committed a crime.

She said the man said he would use all his power to destroy her name and brand and ultimately get her banned from Twitch. Her greatest fear at the moment is that the man will put her data and personal information online, she “doxxt”.

He probably got the information from a lawyer or found it out himself. Either way, it scares her. If he makes the information public, she wants to “sue him by any means”: The man has already threatened to “leak” her information if she doesn’t respond to his demands.

In her eyes, the man is simply a dangerous psycho.

“I’m not a pussy and I’m not weak!”

This is how she wants to fight back: Mskenner says:

“If you want to play, then we can play. I won’t just give up. I will not be taken advantage of. You took from me and from my kids and as a mother you unlocked a side of me you don’t want to see. You won’t get away with this. Stop this now and go somewhere far away from me and my community, I’m not a pussy and I’m not weak. You grossly underestimated my ability!”

She ends her post by warning that what happened to her can happen to anyone on Twitch:

“My advice is, if something looks too good to be true, it really isn’t.” Don’t get fooled.”
