Pokémon GO: Spotlight Hour Today With Myrapla And Stardust – Is It Worth It?

Spotlight Hour with Myrapla starts today, April 19th in Pokémon GO. We’ll show you everything about the start, shinys and bonuses of the event.

What is this event? Spotlight Hour kicks off every Tuesday night in Pokémon GO. For a period of 60 minutes, the focus is on a specific Pokémon that the developers determine at the beginning of each month.

Today you will encounter more Myrapla from the first game generation at the event. It can evolve into Duflor and Giflor or Blubella. There is also a bonus that gives you more Stardust.

Spotlight Hour on April 19 with Myrapla Content

When does it start? Spotlight Hour starts today at the usual time of 6:00 p.m. local time. It is then active for one hour and ends at 19:00.

What bonuses are there? During the event period, you will encounter Myrapla in many places in the wilderness. If you want even more spawns, you can also ignite a smoke module during this time, which will primarily attract the event Pokémon.

There is also a bonus that gives you double stardust for catching Pokémon. If you ignite a star piece to do this, you can increase your yield even further.

Can you catch Shiny Myrapla? Yes, the Pokémon can already be found in the game as Shiny. If you’re very lucky, you’ll encounter a dazzling specimen during Spotlight Hour.

Is today’s spotlight worth it?

This is how strong it gets: You can use Giflor and Blubella the most, but the two perform in PvP battles at most in midfield. So many trainers will take the event with them mainly because of the stardust bonus.

Unfortunately, Myrapla and its developments are not really worthwhile in raid battles either. There are many stronger attackers out there.
