Fortnite gives you 6 items on the lantern test – this is how you get them

The Lantern Festival is currently running in the colorful Fortnite shooter and since April 20 there has also been a suitable lantern test. You will receive tasks from the exams that guarantee you up to 6 free items. You can find everything you need to know about registering and the tasks for the lantern test on MeinMMO.

What is this event? The entire April at Fortnite is themed “#Sharethelight” and the Lantern Festival.

It all started with an in-game photo competition, which is now over. Moving on to the Lantern Trials, you can earn free rewards by completing tasks on certain days:

  • 4 emoticons
  • 1 livery
  • 1 back accessory

Here you will find all the information you need to secure the items. You can admire the livery and backpack here:

Fortnite: Lantern Trial – Registration and Rewards

How do I take part in the Lantern Trials? You must be at least 13 years old and have an Epic account. You can use your account to log in to the Lantern Exams website:

On the page you can see your progress on the different challenges and check what’s coming up next.

How do I get the rewards? In order to secure all the items, you have to play and collect points on at least 2 of the event days. You get the points for the Battle Royale modes and “zero build”.

Fixed tasks give you points that you use to unlock the items. One point on each event day is enough for the emoticons:

  • Day 1 – Brawler Emoticon
    • April 20, 6 a.m. to April 21, 6 a.m
  • Day 2 – Rook’s Eye Roll Emoticon
    • April 21, 6 a.m. to April 22, 6 a.m
  • Day 3 – Sweaty Jonesy Emoticon
    • April 22, 6 a.m. to April 23, 6 a.m
  • Day 4 – Ranger Twitch Emoticon
    • April 23, 6 a.m. to April 24, 6 a.m
  • Day 5 – Catch up on all emoticons
    • April 24, 6 a.m. to April 25, 6 a.m

The tasks change every day and are not known in advance. On Day 1, you get points from eliminations. If you signed up for the event and got even one kill on day 1, you’ve already secured the jackpot.

If you collect a point on day 5, you will receive all 4 emoticons from the event directly.

For painting and backpack, however, you have to do more and play at least 2 days. Because for the items you have to reach point milestones:

  • Leading Light finish
  • Dream Lantern Back Bling

On the first day you have to collect 35 points for the milestone, i.e. land 35 kills. Here, too, it is not yet known what the tasks will be like on the other days.

There is always something to do in Fortnite, there is always an event running or something new is coming. It was not until April 19th that the new Ranger shotgun weapon came into play with update 20.20.

This even leads to a bit of envy in the MeinMMO editorial team: As a Warzone player, I can only look with envy at what Fortnite is already daring to do again.

Are you checking out the event? What do you think of the rewards? We’d love to read your thoughts on the topic in the comments.
