"Steelrising": Vive la Révolution des Machines!

Publisher Nacon and developer Spiders (including “Greedfall”) have released a first gameplay trailer for their upcoming action role-playing game “Steelrising”. The Souls-like lets players experience an alternate version of the French Revolution.

1789 is the year of the storming of the Bastille and the beginning of the fall of the monarchy. Steelrising presents an alternative version of history: what if King Louis XVI, who loved watchmaking, had built a powerful and ferocious army of robots capable of crushing the rebellion? Aegis, once an automaton created for the pleasure of the Hofes danced, is now a warrior, Marie Antoinette’s bodyguard. According to a Nacon statement, he was commissioned by the Queen to “navigate through a Paris teeming with machines. Every battle with the mechanical enemies is a challenge that puts the skills of the fans to the test.” The first gameplay trailer not only demonstrates several levels and various enemy types, but also shows the first bosses. Gamers can then face them from September 8th when the title is released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
