Shouldn't Eivor wear the same stuff all the time? In May, changing gear will be a lot easier.

After Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has freshly received new master challenges, the Eastre Festival is also available in the settlement of Hraefnathorp starting today. So much for the new content for April. And how about May? Ubisoft has already announced new updates for this as well. A new building is particularly interesting: The Armory, which makes life easier for us as Vikings.

Armory is finally bringing loadouts to Valhalla

Far Cry 6 has them, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has them too and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will finally get them in May, a good year and a half after the release. We’re talking about loadouts that make it easier for us to manage and change our equipment. A welcome and long overdue feature for Valhalla, coming soon through the Armory.

How do the loadouts work? To unlock the loadouts we need the armory in the game. This is a new building that we can build in the settlement. Once we’ve built it up, up to five dolls are ready. On these we can not only show off our favorite equipment, but also easily customize weapons, armor and skills. Once a loadout has been saved, we can then change it anywhere in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla game world official blog post from Ubisoft to.

This is a blessing for anyone who likes to switch back and forth between what now feels like countless equipment. The only minor disadvantage could be that the related life-size dolls can seem a bit spooky in the armory, similar to how it can be in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

But there is more to come in May: In addition to the general update 1.5.2, we get new river raids, thanks to which we can not only capture new raw materials, but also get new weapons and cosmetic items. A new bow, scythe, atgeir, hairstyles and beards await us here.

The April content for AC Valhalla

Update 1.5.1 was released just a few days ago and once again brought new rewards into the game with Master Challenge Pack 2 and the Easter Event. However, there are a few requirements in order to be able to face the new challenges from Easter tasks. You can read about them in our April update news.

What do you think of the armory? Am I happy about loadouts, or does Eivor always carry one and the same equipment with you anyway?
