Twitch Streamer takes so much damage in New World PvP that he screams and destroys his tech

Twitch streamer Sweett_T got smacked so hard on his last New World stream that he escalated in anger, damaging part of his setup. We at MeinMMO summarize.

Who is Sweett_T? The streamer is one of the smaller ones and has an average of 9 simultaneous viewers.

He’s been streaming New World for the most part lately, but he’s also been touring Call of Duty and is already known in his community for going berserk from time to time. Now, however, even his hardware had to believe it.

How did the stream go? On April 16th, Sweett_T streamed, as usual, a war in the MMORPG New World. In this mode, a total of 100 players compete for control of an area within the game’s world.

In this particular case, the streamer and his guild were defending the Weaver’s Den area in the more northerly part of the map. During battles, he keeps complaining about the balance issues in New World’s PvP.

Above all, the ice glove with its large ice fields and walls often becomes a problem in the crowd. It doesn’t take much more than a few ice-gloved players to stop an overwhelming majority. This is exactly what became Sweett_T’s undoing.

What happened during the battle? The streamer kept talking himself into a rage as the ice spells lashed out around him:

“You just didn’t want to nerf those cursed ice circles? It’s just sick of the developers.” Those were his last words before he got trapped in those very ice circles and died in a split second.

He then freaked out and threw his headset into his screen with full force, the camera then fell down and showed a black image. While Sweett_T was still playing the game, you couldn’t see him in the stream anymore.

After the war, he showed that his screen had artifacts and was broken. He ended the transmission and has not been online since (as of April 22).

Clip shows a big problem

What is problematic? The situation around balancing, especially in New World PvP, remains a critical point. The ice glove seen in the clip is often the focus of discussions on reddit and in the forum. While the developers at Amazon promise that they are working on balancing, progress has been slow.

Even the big update with the new weapon changed little. Many fans are still annoyed about the ice fields and ice walls on the 50 vs 50 battlefields. They would simply have too much influence on the outcome of the battles.

The spamming of the ice skills is currently making it extremely difficult for attackers to gain land at all. First and foremost, the melee fighters have little chance when they have to run against these walls of ice spells.
