FIFA 22: All 18 Bundesliga Clubs in TOTW Ranking – How close is that to the real table?

The Bundesliga season is coming to an end and the clubs are fighting for good table positions in the last few meters. We take a look at the TOTW table of the current Ultimate Team season in FIFA 22.

Each week, FIFA 22 hands out “Team of the Week” cards to players who have excelled in real-world football. But in the course of such a long season, one or the other card can fall into oblivion – especially since there are other special cards without end that have less to do with real achievements.

We look at how the Bundesliga looks in the TOTW ranking. Which club has collected the most inform players? Who is behind? And how is your club doing?

Here we show you the overview according to the current status (April 23, 2022).

TOTW ranking: The table cellar with place 18 to 14

Who is 18th? In fact, there is currently only one Bundesliga club that has not received a single TOTW card in the course of FIFA 22: Arminia Bielefeld. The club is not exactly on the sunny side of the table in the Bundesliga either and in 17th place is in serious danger of relegation. A few TOTW-worthy performances by the players could help to secure the class in real football.

Place 17 – 14: These places are shared by four clubs, each with a single TOTW card.

  • the SpVgg Greuther Furth got a ticket for Branimir Hrgota. In the current Bundesliga table, Fürth is in last place.
  • Attacker Gerrit Holtmann is the owner of the only one so far VfL Bochum-TOTW card. In the actual table, Bochum is in a slightly more comfortable place 12 – i.e. in midfield.
  • At the VfB Stuttgart Wataru Endo got a TOTW card. In keeping with the TOTW situation, VfB is on the relegation spot in the basement of the table.
  • And with Union Berlin There is a surprise in the TOTW basement: There was only one card here too, for Christopher Trimmel.
    But in the real table, Union is in 6th place, with hopes of European competition. So it seems that the team structure plays a role less TOTW-worthy individual performances.

The TOTW Midfield – ranked 13th through 7th

13th – 12th place: Two clubs were able to secure two tickets each: Hertha BSC and the 1.FSV Mainz 05. Hertha is a little further down in the real table, in 15th place, with an acute danger of relegation. Mainz, on the other hand, is currently in 9th place.

Place 11 – 10: Two other clubs were able to secure 3 tickets each and are thus in the middle of the table: Der VfL Wolfsburg and the FC Augsburg. They are tied for 11th and 10th place. Funnily enough, they are also current neighbors in the real table – albeit in 13th and 14th place. Close!

9th – 8th place: Here, too, there are two teams that have the same number of cards: Eintracht Frankfurt and the 1. FC Cologne bagged 4 TOTW cards so far. Cologne is even a little further up in the real table, in 7th place. Frankfurt, on the other hand, is in 10th place, just behind its own TOTW placement. After their win against Barcelona, ​​Frankfurt should be looking more towards Europe than the Bundesliga anyway.

7th place: He has the seventh place Sc freiburg for himself – appropriately with exactly 7 TOTW cards. Here, however, offensive player Vincenzo Grifo should be mentioned as a multiple offender: He already has three TOTW cards. In real football things are going even better at the moment, because Freiburg is in 5th place in the table, is looking up and has also reached the DFB Cup final. So it’s quite possible that it won’t stay with the 7 cards until the end of the season.

6th and 5th place: Here are two teams that have reached 8 cards each. The first is the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, who can thank defender David Raum in particular: He pocketed 3 TOTW cards personally. In real football, Hoffenheim is a little further down, in 8th place.

The second team is the current real runners-up Dortmund. At BVB, however, the cards are distributed quite well: Haaland, Meunier, Akanji, Can, Brandt and Reus each collected a card. Only Jude Bellingham, one of the top talents in FIFA 22, got 2 TOTW cards.

4th place: Bayer Leverkusen can look forward to a two-digit TOTW number, because 10 cards have so far gone to the “Werkself”. There is also an MVP here: outside attacker Moussa Diaby collected 3 cards. Incidentally, Leverkusen is also fourth in the Bundesliga – “Fourer Kusen” instead of “Vizekusen”.

Place 3: Here – as in the real table – RB Leipzig. Keeper Gulácsi collected 2 of them, as did offensive player Nkunku. Anyway, Nkunku made a name for himself in FIFA 22 as a player who constantly gets special cards. It is quite possible that there will be more to come.

Place 2: Probably the most violent jump: in 2nd place Borussia Monchengladbach with a total of 11 TOTW cards. Striking: goalkeeper Yann Sommer collected 3 cards directly. Even more striking: Gladbach is in 11th place in the real Bundesliga table and has nothing to do with the title fight or with the European competition.

1st place: Big surprise: The FC Bayern Munich is, as in the real Bundesliga, number 1 in the TOTW ranking. With 15 cards, the record champion has more TOTW cards than places 18 to 11 together.

Incidentally, Joshua Kimmich, who received 3 TOTW cards, stands out above all. Behind them are double cards for Müller, Coman, Lewandowski and Upamecano. Gnabry, Goretzka, Neuer and Süle each secured one.
