Halo Infinite will soon have a feature that would have been needed for release
In a few months you won’t have to manage the campaign all by yourself anymore.
Halo Infinite is about to start its second season. The development team took the impending start as an opportunity to publish a roadmap for the upcoming content. Some dates have already been set, while other features have only been given a rough timeframe or are not even listed on the roadmap.
Popular Halo features are late
Thus, 343 Industries published on Halo Waypoint a roadmap for 2022. The roadmap is divided into two seasons that will implement the new modes and features in Halo Infinite:
- Season 2: May 03, 2022 to November 07, 2022
- Season 3: from November 08, 2022
What content is coming? In addition to a new Battle Royale mode, there will be the popular King of the Hill mode and Land Grab coming to the game along with new maps and new events. The co-op campaign mode that fans have been asking for since Halo Infinite released is also finally coming in the coming months.

However: The co-op mode has not yet been provided with a specific date. Rather, the development team is trying to submit the co-op mode at the end of August. But when exactly the mode will come and whether there will be a postponement by then remains uncertain.
In addition, the Forge level editor, with which the community has conjured up unusual creations in the past, still has no concrete release date. It is only known that the mode will appear sometime with Season 3. After all, there should already be an open beta for Forge from September.

Dates are not set in stone
But the 343 Industries team made it clear that the roadmap is a living document. This means that further release dates will be submitted over time when more specific information can be provided.
Some features have already been pushed back in time in the past. For example, the co-op mode was originally scheduled for spring 2022, but will now be released in late summer 2022, so it remains to be seen whether there will be further shifts over time.
