In “Aquatico” you build cities on the seabed

Independent developer Digital Reef Games has announced an unusual new city-building strategy game for PC. In “Aquatico” you build futuristic cities in the depths of the oceans.

Digital Reef Games plans to release “Aquatico” on Steam in the third quarter. According to the game description: “Aquatico is a survival city building game on the sea floor. In the not too distant future, the surface of the earth has turned into a wasteland, but some groups of people have not given up hope.” In Aquatico, the survivors create a new civilization beneath the surface of the sea and must gather resources in this dangerous and surreal environment to build a thriving underwater city and ensure its survival. The developers show what this looks like in practice in the trailer.
