The controversial subscription service for GTA Online should probably be expanded to a larger target group.

What is this subscription? A few weeks ago, Rockstar Games introduced the GTA+ paid subscription. Initially only available for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, the subscription offers certain advantages. Players should get a sum of money transferred every month, plus there are cars, discounts and additional bonuses.

However, the idea of the subscription was not well received. Nevertheless, according to a job description, Rockstar wants to continue and now also bring the subscription to PC players.

GTA+ on PC?

That is new: on Twitter writes videotech_, who deals with content related to the games from Rockstar Games, that GTA + will not disappear for the time being. Because the team is now looking for a product manager for this via a job advertisement.

The job description also suggests that the service will come to PC at some point in the future. It says:

The Subscription Product Manager will help drive program and product strategy through the implementation of features in our own online stores, our PC application and in-game stores, as well as the stores at our gaming partners. […]

While that’s not a direct endorsement for GTA+ on PC, it makes very good sense that they’d want to expand the service to this demographic. However, since they are only now looking for a product manager for it, the release on PC seems to be even further away.

This is how the subscription arrives: Our colleagues at GameStar write: Rockstar’s “GTA+” subscription service is more dangerous than you think.

Shortly after the announcement, the community assumed it was a bad April Fool’s joke. Players couldn’t believe the big announcement wasn’t about more information about GTA 6 or new content for Red Dead Online. The relatively low rewards for a price of €6 per month created a bad mood.

We put you to the test on MeinMMO in a survey about the new service for the game. Over 2,000 people entered and showed their take on GTA+. Spoiler: You don’t feel like it at all.
