The Last of Us 2 can hardly be surpassed in intensity and this also applies to this cosplay.
Games like The Last of Us 2 have always encouraged fans and cosplayers to go beyond themselves. Sometimes the result looks so good that it is indistinguishable from the original. With TLOU 2, this has happened again and again: A cosplayer has recreated what is probably the most famous (and hardest) scene from the game and even impressed game director Neil Druckmann with it because the cosplay looks so realistic.

The Last of Us 2 cosplay looks confusingly similar to the most violent game scene
That’s what it’s about: There is this one scene in The Last of Us 2 that still stirs some people’s spirits. In it, as Ellie, we have to watch as Abby and her people torture and eventually kill Joel. Ellie is being held and is powerless and extremely distressed.
Exactly this moment has now been recreated in an impressive way by cosplayer Sandra Miller.

It didn’t take long for the image to reach the people behind the game. Game Director Neil Druckmann has his own tweet and can’t believe it’s actually cosplay.
