Twitch streamer rejects €9.3 million deal - his viewers are stunned, shouting "Do it!"

Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo (27) is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. Companies are always looking for new advertising partners who will present their product to the masses. According to his own statements, the streamer recently got a deal from a casino website that offered him the equivalent of 9.3 million euros.

What was that deal exactly? The streamer revealed 2 details from the offer:

  • Mizkif was scheduled to gamble 15 hours a month on the casino site and show his gaming live on Twitch.
  • The reward for this was 9.3 million euros (10 million US dollars) a year.

Streamer turns down $10m for ‘moral reasons’

What did Mizkif say to that? Before even naming the sum, Mizkif said: “You have to understand, I’m human and I’m only a damn 27 years old – to see numbers like that. I’ll be honest with you: have I thought about it and accepted it? Yes I did.”

However, he refused for moral reasons. Not the first time the Twitch streamer turned down a lucrative offer. In the past, he turned down an NFT deal because he was afraid of nasty rants on reddit.

However, he had a hard time making the decision because this money could have changed his life forever. Not only his, but also that of generations and his family. He could also donate some of it to a good cause.

You can see Mizkif talking about the offer in the Twitch clip:

Viewers can’t believe it and spam the chat: “Do it!”

What do his viewers say about it? Usually, casino streams are always very controversial on Twitch, but Mizkif’s chat hailed encouragement. “Do it!” they spammed the chat en masse. They also said things like:

  • “It doesn’t matter what we think – do it!”
  • “Do what you want.”
  • “Brother, you’re stupid if you don’t accept the offer.”

Few voices, of course, appealed to morality and reason. Mizkif should not accept the offer because he is a role model.

However, the general public voted in favour, and the streamer then grinned: “It doesn’t make it any easier when y’all tell me to f*ck do it. I didn’t think you would say that.”

Why did Mizkif still turn down the deal? Another reason for his rejection of the deal was apparently that he had to move back to Canada. Mizkif currently lives in Texas and there are strict rules regarding gambling. Classic games of chance, such as participating in casinos, are punished as a criminal offence. The only exceptions are the public lottery and betting on dog and horse races.

Mizkif never wants to live alone in Canada, not even for 9.3 million euros. The viewers immediately said: “Uh, okay, no. Then leave it” and “No, it’s not worth it.”
