Halo Infinite soon loses what is arguably the campaign’s most useful glitch

343 Industries fixes the tank gun glitch

In the meantime, developer 343 Industries in the form of community manager John Junyszek has officially confirmed that the Season 2 update for Halo Infinite will also fix the so-called “Tank Gun Glitch” in the campaign and will therefore no longer be available.

What is this glitch? In the “Tremonius Outpost” mission you can find the invisible but immensely effective tank gun on a crashed starship wreckage, which is normally mounted on Scorpion tanks, but can also be used as a “normal” – albeit invisible – if you use the glitch. weapon is available. The Tank Gun does massive damage, which is why it’s incredibly useful, probably the most useful glitch in the entire game.

Then: Even the highest level of difficulty, Legendary, or the “LASO” challenge, which is very challenging under normal conditions and in which all gameplay-changing skulls are also activated, are relatively easy to do with the Tank Gun.

So if you are still planning to do a round on the appropriate difficulty levels, for example to bag the associated achievements, you should ideally do this by May 3rd. Because the challenges will probably no longer be as manageable as they have been up to now.

Season 2 brings long-awaited new content

The second season for Halo Infinite is entitled “Lone Wolves” and, in addition to a new Arena and a new Big Team Battle map, also includes the “Last Spartan Standing” mode, in which 12 Spartans fight for survival on a large map , while the play area gets smaller and smaller.
