One of the most memorable games of years has arrived on consoles this week thanks to the deluxe edition of The Stanley Parable. What added value the version offers compared to the PC experience, more on that later, first we want to tell you a curiosity in connection with the PS4 and PS5 trophies that should make platinum hunters quite angry.

To dust off platinum, you only have to collect eleven trophies in advance. Sounds easy, but it will take you a whopping ten years to do it.

Why does platinum take so long? It’s all down to the Super Go Outside bronze trophy, which developer Galactic Cafe wants to give you some fresh air in. You only get the trophy if you haven’t started The Stanley Parable for ten years.

By the way, the achievement should look familiar to players on Steam. Here, however, you don’t have to click “start” for only five years before you receive the award.

Is there a workaround? On Steam you can easily avoid the waiting time by setting the time on your computer forward. It is currently still unclear whether this is also possible on consoles. If you change the internal clock of your PS4 or PS5, this usually means problems with your server connection and you can no longer start The Stanley Parable.
