2 important reasons why you should definitely participate in the 2022 Guardian Games in Destiny 2

In Destiny 2, the Guardian Games will start soon, in which all Guardian classes will compete against each other. For glory, and most importantly for the title of the best class, Guardians will go to great lengths to support their class. However, since the Guardian Games have seen little change over the years, we’ll show you 2 reasons why you should take part.

When do the Guardian Games start? The Guardian Games 2022 will start on May 3rd, 2022 as usual after the reset at 7 p.m. Eva Levante, the organizer and bouncy dealer, will support you at the start and during the Guardian Games and provide you with enough tasks.

However, since Bungie has been hosting the Guardian Games for a while without much change, some Guardians are avoiding the celebration. In order not to stay away completely, we will show you two important reasons that you might want to participate to support your class.

What makes the keeper games so boring? Bungie sends the Guardians into various activities in which they are supposed to farm medals. They have to hand them in to the altar on the tower to collect points for their class. Every day one class is declared the winner of the day.

Ultimately, the class that wins the most days also wins the keeper games. The problem, however, is that no special activity has been added. Players only need to wear one selected class item while farming activities.

This seems loveless and boring to many players, which is why no effort is made for the keeper games for the most part. Nevertheless, there are two reasons why you should take part.

To encourage Guardians to participate in Guardian Games, a new weapon has been forged.

“The Title” should even beat the popular funnel network with its stats and its original perk and thus position itself as the best Void MP in the future. However, you can only earn the new gun during the 2022 Guardian Games. So if you are still looking for a strong alternative for your arsenal, “The Title” would be a good option.

Rare emblem for dedicated Guardians

What is this emblem? This is an emblem for the best. It is only available to 10% of Keepers, namely those who have contributed the most to the Keeper Games. So if you want to show off one of the rarest Emblems to your fellow Guardians, you’ll find it here.

How do you get the emblem? In order to get the emblem, you have to participate in the so-called “competitive strikes”. In this playlist, the most points count. The players who manage to get the highest score in all three weeks of the Guardian Games 2022 will have higher chances of getting the emblem.

There will be two Guardian Games playlists for this: Training and Competition. So it’s also important when you play.

• The training playlist is announced on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is where you collect Training Points (the combined score of your entire fireteam).
• On Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday it’s time to break a sweat in the competition playlist. Here you will get additional rewards.
• Players can also earn buffs in the Leisure, Training, and Competitive playlists by achieving Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. These last until the next weekly reset.
• And you can use these buffs in the regular Vanguard Ops playlist.

Only your highest scores from each week will be added together. So there is no point in farming the activity. Only your best score of the week counts. Should you qualify for the Emblem, you will unlock a Triumph and the Emblem will be yours.

Of course there is also an armor glow again: Lighting the bronze, silver, gold, and platinum torches that stand atop the tower during the event will grant rewards and a glow that can be seen on the right shoulder of a Warden’s armor.

How long are the keeper games? You have three weeks for the Guardian Games. In 2022, the guardian games will take place from May 3rd to 24th. So if one of the reasons spurs you on to get involved, don’t miss a week. When the event expires, you no longer have a chance to receive the event-specific items and the weapon.
