Destiny 2: Weekly Reset on 05/03. – Starting today, the Olympics will be celebrated

Destiny 2 is celebrating Guardian Games 2022 starting today to clarify who gets to brag about being the best class in the game in the coming year. But before that, we’ll show you what else you can expect this week and which fancy items are available for Bright Dust.

This is happening this week: Destiny 2 kicks off the Class War this week. The Guardian Games event is an annual tradition that anyone can enter for free. During the event, Warlocks, Hunters and Titans will battle each other to prove which class is the best.

Warlocks in particular still have a score to settle this year, as they are the only class that hasn’t won any Guardian Games so far. Time to finally get the gold medal with floating ease.

If you’re still thinking about participating: We’ll give you at least two reasons why you shouldn’t miss the Guardian Games 2022 after all.

If you still prefer to know more about what players in Destiny 2 can expect in the upcoming Season 17, you should stop by this week’s exotic mission “Vox Obscura”. There, Zavala and Empress Caiatl reveal new information about the activities of an old acquaintance from earlier Destiny days week after week.

However, before you can get started with the event and activities, you still have to accept a little maintenance before the weekly reset. We’ll keep you updated on the adjustments Bungie has made there.

You get these weapons from dawns: Each week, players can obtain specific weapons from the Nightfall Strikes. There are currently six weapons in rotation in the current loot pool. This week the Rocket Launcher is available:

Top Twilights: In order to start in the supreme discipline of strikes, the frontrunner twilight, you need a power level of 1,575. You also fight in competitive mode. This means you’ll be fighting 25 power levels below the peak power level of 1600, requiring tactical and team coordination. In addition, the twilight weapon drops as a master version, i.e. adept.

This week in the Vow of the Apprentice raid is the “Defense failed. This raid challenge requires you to kill only one Taken Knight with your relic.
As a reward for completing the challenge in the third stage of the Grandmaster Raid this week, there is a chance for a Master version of the Submachine Gun Submission or the Redemption Fusion Rifle. But keep in mind that hard and normal mode share the loot.

This is the new max level: In the new Season of the Risen, the maximum power level of your gear is 1,560. This means that the power level at the start of the DLC has increased by +230 power levels compared to the previous season 15. However, all players are also boosted to a base power level of 1350 at launch, and there are many sources to level up quickly.

If you want to quickly reach 1,520 power levels, you only have to complete the legendary campaign. By the way, you will also get one of the new Witch Queen exotics as a gift when you finish.
