Red Dead Online fans now believe Rockstar is trolling them

Red Dead Online still gets regular updates, but they are just as regular and very sobering. This has now gone so far that the remaining fans are no longer interested and demand the rescue of RDO and new content with every update. But because they haven’t come up so far and Rockstar seems to ignore all requests, some fans believe that the developer studio is just trolling them.

Red Dead Online update leaves quite disappointed fans again

That’s what it’s about: Red Dead Online could have been like GTA Online and many fans don’t want to give up hope just yet. But there is a lack of updates that bring new content that expands the game in a meaningful way, can be played regularly, is fun and yields cool rewards that can in turn be invested in other worthwhile things.

Instead, Rockstar only includes changing bonuses for the same, now badly sucked-out activities in the updates. For example, currently for the horse races, which have not been particularly well received by most fans anyway and are hardly ever played. Some fans feel cheated, to say the least:

This leaves those wanting to do more feeling like Rockstar has simply written off Red Dead Online by now. The fact that it is still advertised as being a “constantly evolving world” may seem cynical to some.

The hashtag #SaveRedDeadOnline trending almost every time there is a new, disappointing RDO update. However, the fans probably have less and less hope that something more will actually happen at some point.

More RDR news:

Whether Rockstar plans to release proper content updates for RDO at some point remains unclear. What is certain, however, is that a lot more is happening in GTA Online and that the developer studio is already working on GTA 6. So it doesn’t look too promising that things will improve for Red Dead Online fans any time soon.

Do you still play RDO? Do you think there will be new content coming at some point?
