LoL: Get 2 free skins now with little effort – but you have to be quick

Currently in League of Legends 6 you can get free skin shards via a challenge and only have to play a little. MeinMMO shows you how it works and how long it takes you.

In League of Legends you can currently buy special event capsules that are guaranteed to provide you with skin shards. You will also receive extra rewards via milestones the more of these capsules you buy – up to a maximum of 25 capsules.

To celebrate the launch of the milestones for these Eclipse pods, there is currently a worthwhile in-game challenge:

• Introducing Showcase Milestones: Play and win matches to earn 150 points (matchmade games only)

For this you get an Eclipse capsule 2022 and an Eclipse surprise bag 2022. Both loot boxes contain 6 skin fragments together and can be obtained for little effort.

LoL: Eclipse Challenge brings quick rewards

How long is the challenge? The task is active for 7 days and will go offline on May 12, 2022.

How long do I need for the challenge? You get the points from the challenge through your playing time. Every minute counts.

• Summoner’s Rift, ARAM, Event Modes
  • 4 points per minute
  • 6 points per minute on a win
• All TFT modes
  • 3 points per minute (place 5 – 8)
  • 6 points per minute (place 1 – 4)
• Summoner’s Rift – Co-op
  • 1 points per minute
  • 2 points per minute on a win

For example, if you play an ARAM for 30 minutes and win, you already have 180 points. If you go down in a Summoner’s Rift match and resign after 15 minutes, that’s already 60 points.

As long as you’re in one of the larger modes, you shouldn’t need more than 45 minutes + matchmaking to reap the rewards.

What do I get as a reward? The two items together guarantee you at least 6 skin shards and the chance for further rewards:

• Eclipse Capsule 2022
  • 3 random skin shards
  • 3.5% Chance: Eclipse Grab Bag 2022
  • 0.05% Chance: Mythic Skin
• Eclipse Grab Bag 2022
  • 1 Skin Shard – Max 1,350 RP
  • 2 Skin Shards – 950 RP minimum
  • Chance of Mythic Essences
  • Chance of 2 additional skin shards – at least 975 RP

You can then unlock at least 2 permanent skins from the skin shards and have a chance of further rewards.
