Arkane Studios has had its time warp shooter since its release in September 2021 deathloop (in the test, rating: 8.5) constantly expanded with new features through updates. Now the third major patch for the title has been released. The new accessibility options that are implemented with it should be interesting for many players.

In the settings you can now adjust the gaming experience in more detail to your needs and preferences. You can increase and decrease the difficulty of battles, adjust the number of reprises or reduce the overall game speed. In addition, the HUD and the subtitles can now be modified in many ways. Among other things, you can tweak the size, opacity and color of various elements. You can now also use the arrow keys on your controller to navigate through the menus and adjust the cursor speed.

My favorites are the slow motion, which allows all players to perform otherwise impossible sequences of actions, and the reprise count, which lets you experiment with the infinite setting without consequences. Conversely, you can use the reprise count to make the game even more challenging by completely disabling reprise.

According to the studio director Dinga Bakaba to the options.

The third Deathloop patch also brings a photo mode. Typically, you can’t just capture the current moment, but tweak many variables. There are numerous filters, a wide angle option and you can switch between Colt and Julianna and also customize their outfits and weapon designs.

If you’re playing on PS5 and want to show all your friends how much you love Deathloop, Sony has teamed up with Arkane to offer some free avatars. You can get the nine pictures by redeeming the code 3XF7-QANX-CJ6A in the store.
