5 MMOs You Can't Fight In Even If You Wanted To

MMOs can be structured very differently. World of Warcraft is hard to compare with titles like Fortnite or League of Legends. But one thing connects them: fighting. In this list, however, we would like to introduce you to MMOs in which exactly that is avoided.

What defines non-combat MMOs? The multiplayer games, which completely do without fighting, usually rely heavily on the social component. There are also MMOs in which fighting is possible, but rather optional.

We would like to introduce you to 5 games in which there are (almost) no fights. You will also find other MMOs at the end in which you could theoretically do without fighting.

What is A Tale in the Desert? A Tale in the Desert is an MMORPG set in ancient Egypt. It focuses heavily on:

  • crafting
  • Trading
  • social content
  • and politics

The entire game world can be built on and invites you to experiment. For this, the MMO uses one of the probably most demanding crafting systems ever and is not necessarily beginner-friendly.

However, to be able to play A Tale in the Desert, you need a subscription of 12 euros per month. The MMO is available in English, German and French and was released in 2003.

What can you experience in the game? In the MMORPG, three factions compete against each other. They build against each other and the goal is to create the most impressive and complex structures.

Every week a vote is taken on who should take over the leadership of the respective faction. The leader can remove members from a faction, but also invite new ones. With a bit of persuasion, members of the other two groups can also be poached.

So that the game world is not completely built up at the end, it is reset every now and then. The game is currently in Tale 9, which has also brought some new features to the interface. A tale lasts around 18 months.

Are there really no fights? In A Tale in the Desert there are absolutely no options to fight each other.

However, other players can be challenged in puzzles or other small tasks.
