Gotham Knights: Without microtransactions, versions for Xbox One and PS4 are missing
Warner Bros. has posted a lot of news about the DC superhero epic Gotham Knights via Twitter – and posted a new gameplay video. The action game about Batman, Red Hood & Co should therefore no longer appear for last-gen consoles and should not contain any microtransactions. The PC version will be available on both the Epic Games Store and Steam.
Over the past 24 hours, they have been piling up the twitter account for the action game Gotham Knights the news. Warner Bros. has announced, among other things, that it will no longer publish the artistic superhero adventure for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. As positive news, the media group had to offer the deletion of any microtransactions.
Gotham Knights in three editions
Warner’s tweets also provided more detailed information about each edition of the title. The price for the standard edition should be 70 euros; the deluxe edition will cost 20 euros more. In addition to the base game, it contains “exclusive gear and cosmetics” as well as Beyond-style skins inspired by the Batman Beyond series. Absolute fans and collectors will also be able to access a 300-euro Collector’s Edition. Also includes a 16-page media book, Gotham City map, statue diorama and AR collectible pin.

The new gameplay video then shows the heroes Red Hood and Nightwing in action. The combat system is extremely flexible and is at times reminiscent of the free-float combat system seen in the Arkham series. In Gotham Knights Robin and Batgirl will also be playable. The release date has been set for October 25, 2022, by which time everything about the game will probably be known.
