Arma Reforger: Announcement and timed exclusive Xbox release on Tuesday according to rumors

Tomorrow the shooter Arma Reforger will not only be announced, but will also be released directly as a time-exclusive title for Xbox.

Bohemia Interactive announces one for tomorrow Tuesday at 7:00 p.m live stream to share news about the future of the Arma series.

Since the date was announced, fans have been speculating whether the developer will introduce Arma 4.

However, a marketing and brand guide for the game Arma Reforger recently appeared on the internet, containing 80 pages of guidelines for the hitherto unknown game.

Arma Reforger is therefore a military shooter including vehicle combat, which should also introduce a new group of players to the series: the console gamers.

The shooter continues to be inspired by the Cold War and is set in 1989. The developer returns to the original setting of Arma and places a strong focus on multiplayer with its competitive and cooperative game modes.

According to the guide, Arma 4 is in development using the new Enfusion Engine. However, the conversion of the engine presents the studio with new challenges, which is why it is not possible to deliver all assets and mechanics for the release of Arma 4.

Arma Reforger should therefore be the flagship project for Arma 4, with which one wants to establish a connection to the community and hope for their feedback.

The game will be released as a multiplatform title for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5 and PC as a premium product.

Arma Reforger is said to be a time-exclusive for Xbox consoles.

Insider considered a reliable source for Bohemia Interactive projects Biosphere969 claims even that Arma Reforger will be playable on Xbox tomorrow.

The release of Arma 4, however, should take place in 2024/2025.
