It’s that time again, Jörg Langer and Heinrich Lenhardt start the time machine and rummage through old magazines. It’s about classic role-playing games, point and click and much more.

This content would not be financially viable without the premium users. But we urgently need more supporters: You can help too!

As a Patreon supporter of the game veterans, you will hear twice as many episodes, among other things: https://www.patreon.com/gamesveterans

When game veterans embark on a journey through time, it’s not just the paper that rustles reverently. Websites and certain podcasts are also taken into account when looking back at the gaming topics of 10, 20 and 30 years ago. Going into the archive, we discover, for example, German software pirates (2012), a soccer World Cup that took place in the summer (2002), Indiana Jones In Search of Atlantis and a New 3D Dungeon Dimension (both 1992). Our Patreon supporters can again expect an extended version of the journey through time, in the bonus segment we look at our 10-year-old C64 video special return. At the beginning of the program we focus on current events with news headlines, game reports and a look into the listener’s mailbox.

Episode 20-2022 (#268) of the game veteran podcast with Heinrich Lenhardt and Jörg Langer has a running time of 1:41:36 hours.
