Max Payne 3: How Rockstar celebrates its tenth birthday

Max Payne 3 has turned ten and Rockstar is celebrating with an Anniversary Edition of the soundtrack.

This will be released shortly and will be available in two versions.

Digital and physical

A specific date is still pending, but “this year” Max Payne 3: The Official Soundtrack (Anniversary Edition) will be released on the digital streaming platforms.

The soundtrack will also be released on vinyl in a limited edition.

Max Payne 3 Anniversary Edition includes music by noise band HEALTH as well as previously unreleased tracks from the game.

“With a dark and driving industrial soundscape that reflects Max’s confused state of mind and the oppressive atmosphere of the Max Payne series, HEALTH’s soundtrack for Max Payne 3 has taken their signature melancholy noise-rock sound in new directions and the track ‘ TEARS’ has become a staple of the band’s captivating live shows.

Max Payne 3 was originally released in 2012 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You can also play the title on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

Remedy recently announced remakes of Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne in collaboration with Rockstar.
