The group stage of MSI 2022 is over. Starting May 20th, six LoL teams will battle it out in the Rumble Stage for a place in the playoffs. T1 remains the favourite.
Busan, South Korea – MSI 2022 will draw esports fans around the world in front of their screens. In Busan, South Korea, eleven of the best esports teams competed for a spot on the Rumble Stage. The top two League of Legends teams from each group in the group stage advanced to the second round. The game developed by Riot Games is looking for the winner of MSI 2022. Three previous title holders are still there and are among the favorites. The Rumble Stage will also be broadcast on YouTube and Twitch. MSI 2022 Rumble Stage: Start, schedule, format and location at a glance
The MSI 2022 Group Stage is over: the top two teams from each group move on to the Rumble Stage. There they compete against each other on a total of five match days. The four best teams of the Rumble Stage then move into the KO phase. In the group phase there were more LoL matches than previously thought. Due to lag, the Chinese team RNG had to repeat the first three games. The favorites still haven’t changed.
Process Rumble Stage: The best two teams from each group of the group stage have moved into the so-called Rumble Stage. Six teams fight there for one of the four places in the KO phase. The teams are T1 and Saigon Buffalo from Group A, Royal Never Give Up and PSG Talon from Group B, and G2 Esports and Evil Geniuses from Group C. Each team will play each other twice. The Rumble Stage will take place from May 20th to 24th, 2022.

MSI 2022 Rumble Stage: Schedule for the second round of the LoL tournament
The MSI 2022 Rumble Stage starts on May 20, 2022 as usual at 10:00 a.m. German time. A total of six League of Legends games are played per day. Each team plays twice a day. The last day of the Rumble Stage is May 24, 2022. On this day, the LoL games start at 8:00 a.m. If two or more teams have the same number of wins, the direct comparison will be drawn. If this is balanced, tiebreakers will be played on May 24th after the regular games.

MSI 2022 Rumble Stage: Teams and favorites in the second round
Three teams remain undefeated at MSI 2022. The main favorites T1 and RNG have not yet played a game. G2 Esports also remain undefeated – they finished the group with an impressive 8-0.
The duels of these three teams should be quite interesting. So far, none of them have shown any weakness. Also in the Rumble Stage are Evil Geniuses, Saigon Buffalo and PSG Talon. All three teams should only have outsider chances – with PSG Talon arguably the best of these LoL teams.

MSI 2022 Rumble Stage: Location and Tickets for the Playoffs
Like the group stage, the Rumble Stage will be played in Busan, South Korea. Five teams will play live on stage at the Bexco Exhibition & Convention Center. Only Chinese team Royal Never Give Up is participating offline from China due to Corona regulations. 2356 seats are available for the Rumble Stage per game day. There are still Tickets for the MSI 2022 Rumble Stage accessible. They are priced at 14 to 30 euros.

If you can’t be there live in Busan, you can use streams. Like almost every League of Legends event, MSI 2022 can also be followed on Twitch and Youtube. If you prefer to hear German commentators, you can tune in to Summoner’s Inn. Of course, Lolesports will also broadcast the event. The first four days of the Rumble Stage start at 10:00 a.m. German time. On May 24th, the first game starts at 8:00 a.m. to have time for possible tiebreakers after the last game.
