Radeon RX 6950 XT: EKWB announces compatibility with AMD’s new top model

Anyone who already has a current RX water cooling block from EK Water Blocks or simply wants to put the recently released Radeon RX 6950 XT under water in a timely manner can, according to the announcement on EKWB.com, already do so with some existing models from the troubled manufacturer from Slovenia.

According to this, several AMD-based GPU water blocks from the EK-Quantum Vector RX series are compatible with the new reference design-based flagship graphics card, including the EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 D-RGB – AMD Radeon Edition. The following models are listed in the announcement:

EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 D-RGB – Nickel + Plexi for €149.90
EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 D-RGB – Nickel + Acetal for €144.90
EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 – Copper + Plexi for €82.90
EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 – Copper + Acetal for €82.90
EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 Backplate – Black for €36.90
EK Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 Backplate – Nickel for €43.90
EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 D-RGB – AMD Radeon Edition for €219.90

The EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 D-RGB – Special Edition / Radeon Edition is designed as a full-cover water block with a black acetal surface and side slopes, which is based on the factory coolers of the current AMD graphics cards. There is also a matching CPU cooling block EK-Quantum Velocity D-RGB – AMD Ryzen Edition for 103.90 euros, which the manufacturer said in its announcement indicates.

The EK-Quantum Vector RX 6800/6900 series models, meanwhile, represent the standard line-up of EK-Quantum Vector RX 2nd generation water blocks consisting of four water blocks in different material combinations, paired with standard black and nickel-plated backplates.
