Allegedly 3 new Silent Hill games in production

Who needs a new one Silent Hill, when he or she can have three? And yes, you heard right. According to a new insider report, not only one new horror game is in development – there should be several. Can we expect a real comeback from the brand?

We came to us only recently leaked images to face that could show any of these three games. Insider Dusk Golem shared alleged information, which caused an uproar in the scene with the publication of those pictures.

Shortly after publication of the images these were taken offline again by Twitter. According to statements, Konami is responsible for asserting their rights.

Silent Hill: Revival of the brand with 3 games?

These images are said to belong to a PT-like project that Project name Sakura carries. That should be similar to that Preview teaser for Silent Hills draw attention to the projects coming up in the future.

A report from VGC now confirms the statement that there are several new games. Multiple sources have confirmed that Bloober Team am Silent Hill 2 remake work. Basically, it is more than clear that the developer studio is working on Silent Hill Cooperation with Konami officially announced and confirmed at the same time that they were “working on a well-known horror brand”.

But more games are said to be in production. On the one hand, there should be a brand new “Silent Hill” game, i.e. a full sequel. And on the other hand there would be one more episodic game with a strong focus on the narrative. In total, there are three “Silent Hill” games in development with the remake.

If that’s true, Konami is probably planning on having one very big comeback of the game series.

According to VGC Annapurna Interactive is said to be part of the party – as is the well-known developer studio Supermassive Games, which has not least made its mark Until Dawn made a name. Supermassive Games is said to have been in talks about the episodic game. Whether it stayed that way is another question. But with that The Dark Pictures Anthology the studio is currently working on such a series itself. It is very likely that these “Silent Hill” episodes will look something like The Dark Pictures, if they are produced at all.

Incidentally, Annapurna Interactive is the studio involved with Outer Wilds landed a real hit. At least the studio was in conversation according to sources.

konami hasn’t revealed anything yet. Until then, we can’t have anything officially confirmed and can only treat the rumors with caution.

Worth knowing: The virtuoso recently confirmed that at least one new Silent Hill must be in production Akira Yamaoka, who is currently working on a game “that you guys are hoping to hear about”. So his new soundtrack could be installed in a Silent Hill again.
