Microsoft Flight Simulator: Free World Update IX Italy and Malta released
In order to receive the update, the simulation must be updated to version 220.127.116.11 and can then be unlocked as usual via the marketplace in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
A total of 20 cities have been updated by developer Asobo Studio, including Rome, Venice, Neaper, Turin, Milan. The four airports of Palermo, Sondrio, Marina di Campo and Bolzano have been refurbished by hand. The southern European region has also been updated with the latest geospatial data, including digital elevation models, aerial and satellite imagery, and irregular triangular mesh.
A total of 94 sights can be flown in Italy (including the Tower of Pisa, the Pantheon and the Vatican) and 11 in Malta. There are also three bush flights, discovery flights and new landing challenges.
