Revision of the magic staves
Into the Fray brings a major overhaul to the Magic Wands. Along with new and improved VFX, animations and sound, many staves will receive completely overhauled and even some brand new skills, such as:

- Pyroblast: now a channeled skillshot with positioning and timing rewards

With the update will be portal cities introduced, they replace the previous portal zones and serve as an extension of the royal cities in the Outlands. Castles and Castle Outposts
The update brings changes for castles and outposts. Improved layouts and graphics aim to make battles more dynamic, fairer and visually richer, while giving castle owners more options to defend their stronghold. Different levels of rarity and synchronized timers on chests challenge you to fight on different fronts at the same time.
Chests appear on the world map before they can be claimed, also showing their rarity, giving smaller guilds a chance to focus on the coveted objectives. Additionally, Castle Chests will spawn more frequently per day, providing occasion for major battles throughout the week. By the way, castle chests bring strength with the update, the season points are gained via a strength challenge and no longer via passive control.
What else is happening in Albion Online?
A new ranked arena mode – the crystal arena – offers players a way to test their 5v5 practice in a competitive yet accessible environment, with the prospect of lucrative wins as they level up. But there is also a separate nonlethal crystal leaguewhich should run alongside the normal league with “Full Loot” rules.
