New State Mobile: May update reveals what’s under the bridge

The big, big May update for Krafton’s New State Mobile is now available on Android and iOS.

And it also shows you what’s under the bridge in round-robin Deathmatch mode.

A new map

Underbridge is the name of a new map for said round-robin deathmatch mode in New State Mobile, and it’s designed to enable fast-paced, medium to long-range battles.

In each camp there are watchtowers that give you a good overview. Supply packages don’t spawn here, you get items for each new round.

There is also a new leveling system for round deathmatch. Combat EXP is now awarded based on match results, including wins, losses, kills, and damage. Leaving the match mid-fight no longer earns XP.

When you reach a certain combat level, you will receive an customization kit that can be used in the “Round Deathmatch” preset.

What’s new

The M110A1 is the newest DMR in New State Mobile. It uses 7.62mm ammo and its projectiles travel faster than any other DMR in the game. It has a stable recoil, can be equipped with different accessories and deals a lot of damage.

Meanwhile, the new Piggyback feature in New State Mobile lets you piggyback and take away knocked-out players. This applies to both allies and enemies, by the way. Since other actions are not possible during this time, you should think carefully about when you use it.

Finally, there’s the new Survivor Pass Vol. 7. The focus is on Paul Rubin from the New State faction. You can earn this character’s costume and skin by completing the weekly story missions.
