Sniper Elite 5: The Kill Cam just got better. And more brutal
Developer Rebellion has made improvements to the Kill Cam in Sniper Elite 5.
For the first time, not only hits from sniper rifles are taken into account, but also from SMGs, pistols, eliminations with rifles and takedowns.

According to Rebellion, this is accompanied by improvements in physics and optics.
As the studio puts it: “Bullets can now ricochet off bones, causing even more internal destruction. This is shown to the player in greater detail thanks to improved visual representation of the characters, including better definition of the skeleton, muscles, organs and tendons. ”

More precise hits with SMGs and pistols are made possible by new sights for these types of weapons. It is also possible to operate the Kill Cam in Sniper Elite 5 in real time.
“The tracking shot can now be accelerated or slowed down and the camera angle can also be adjusted,” says Rebellion. “The frequency with which the kill cam is triggered can be adjusted in the game menu. There is also an option to disable the feature.”
Sniper Elite 5 will be released on May 26, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will also be launched in Xbox Game Pass.
