SteamWorld: In addition to Headhunter, 3 other projects are in the works

Thunderful Games still has big plans for its SteamWorld franchise, with four titles currently in development.

SteamWorld Headhunter, which was announced in November 2021, is already known.

There’s more to come

SteamWorld Headhunter is described as a “stylized and colorful third-person co-op action-adventure” and is currently scheduled for release in 2023.

The current annual report from Thunderful Games shows that three more titles are planned – two of them also for 2023.

One such game, codenamed Strawberry, is described as a puzzle game for mobile devices. Another, codenamed Coffee, is a city builder planned for PC and consoles.

The third yet unannounced project is codenamed Caramel and is a mix of turn-based tactical shooter and strategy.

SteamWorld fans can look forward to a number of new games in the coming years.

The SteamWorld series has released SteamWorld Tower Defense, SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Heist, SteamWorld Dig 2, and SteamWorld Quest so far.
