In the new survival MMO V Rising, leather is one of the most important resources, especially in the first few hours of play. In this guide we tell you how to make leather.

In V Rising you start out as a pitiful, weak vampire. In order to become the new Dracula as quickly as possible, you need the right resources. Leather is one of the most important, especially at the beginning of the game, because you need it for your armor.

How to get leather: To get some, you have to process fur in the tannery. To unlock them, you need to follow these steps:

  • Complete the quest “Prepare for the Hunt” to get the Blueprint for the Altar of Blood.
  • Build and interact with the Blood Altar.
    • To do this, you need to open the build menu. To do this, press the B key on the keyboard.
    • Click on “Production” and build the blood altar.
    • For this you need 180 stone and 10 blood essence.
  • Select the boss Keely the Frost Archer (level 20) at the Blood Altar
  • Click on “Track Blood”.
  • Hunt and defeat the boss.

  • Now you have unlocked the Tannery as a building blueprint.
  • Set up the tannery in your base.
    • To do this, you have to open the construction menu by pressing the B key on the keyboard.
    • Click on “Production” and build the tannery.
    • For the tannery you need 8 planks and 160 animal skins from animals like bears or wolves.
  • When the tannery is up, you can use it to process fur into leather.
    • For 1 piece of leather you need 16 animal skins.
  • Place the stack of 16 Hides in the Tannery.

After a short wait, you’ll be the proud owner of Leather!
