As Disney has announced, the Marvel series “She Hulk: The Lawyer” is to be broadcast on its own streaming service on August 17 – also in Germany. It starts with nine half-hour episodes that focus on the life of lawyer and “She-Hulk” Jennifer Walters.

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe can look forward to the sci-fi series She Hulk: The Lawyer airing on Disney+ later this summer. The first episode of the series is scheduled to be broadcast on August 17, 2022, also in Germany. There are nine episodes, each 30 minutes long.

She Hulk: The Lawyer – Synopsis and Cast

The series follows the life of protagonist Jennifer Walters, who pursues her work as a single lawyer. After receiving a blood transformation from her cousin Bruce Banner, known as the Hulk, his supernatural abilities passed onto Jennifer Walters, causing her to become the Hulk as well. However, she should not get completely out of control like her cousin, but retain her human attributes. Other characters appearing in the series are Hulk’s nemesis Emil Blonsky aka Abomination and the antagonist of the series, Titania, bourgeois Mary McPherran, with whom She-Hulk has to take on.

The character of Jennifer Walters is played by Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany. Mark Ruffalo from the USA plays the Hulk and British actor Tim Roth Abomination. Meanwhile, Jameela Jamil, who also comes from Great Britain, slips into the role of the adversary Titania. She Hulk: The Lawyer was conceived and written by Jessica Gao and directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia.

The She-Hulk series was announced by Marvel Studios three years before it aired and is set to be part of “Phase Four” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Due to the corona pandemic, the start of shooting in 2020 could not take place, which is why it was postponed to March 2021.
