Saints Row Reboot: New information about the reboot surfaced

There is new information regarding abilities, game mechanics and a possible multiplayer mode shortly after the release of Saints Row Reboot.

While developer Volition and publisher Deep Silver keep bringing you updates on the upcoming Saints Row reboot, it seems some previously unknown information has already been leaked. According to WhatlfGaming insider Tom Henderson, there are some interesting features in the game that are not yet known.

According to the insider, there will be a system called “Flow” that will affect battles in Saints Row. With these flow points, you can perform special actions, such as sticking a grenade in an enemy’s underpants and then shoving them into a group of other enemies, or sending an enemy into the air with a skillful and spectacular upercut.

Another innovation should be the possibility to get perks. According to the reports, there should be five perk slots. The first perk is said to be unlocked after completing the first mission, the other four can then be unlocked as the game progresses with in-game money. They consist of three categories: Basic, Advanced and Ultimate.

It was also mentioned that by eliminating opponents or enemy vehicles you can refill your health points.

A variety of criminal activities are also to be introduced. They should ask you, for example, to dispose of toxic waste, rob banks, fake crime scenes or dispose of corpses.

Finally, Henderson also mentioned that supposedly after the release, a multiplayer mode is planned and this is already being played by some internal testers.

While this information hasn’t been confirmed in any concrete terms, nor has it been officially confirmed, there’s a good chance that Volition and Deep Silver will be able to tell us more about the game at this year’s Summer Game Fest in June.

Saints Row Reboot will be released on August 23, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows.
