V Rising: Vampire Survival should be playable offline "as soon as possible".

from Alexander Ney
At the top of the Steam top sellers is V Rising, a new vampire survival game with a gothic setting. Although the Early Access sandbox enjoys very good user reviews, many players are annoyed by the current always-online obligation. Now the developer Stunlock Studios has announced that it will make an offline mode available as soon as possible.

In the survival sandbox game V Rising it is up to the players to avoid the sun, because they slip into the role of vampires here. In both single player and online or lan PvP, junior Dracula must also build a grand castle to ensure their rule and protect personal wealth from enemies. This concept is already very well received in Early Access, but many players are annoyed by the current always-online obligation. Because developer Stunlock Studios assures on the game’s Steam page that V Rising can also be played in an offline mode.

V Rising: Offline mode will be added

Meanwhile, the Swedish game developer on Steam and discord responded to the justified criticism of the players. Stunlock promised via the official Discord channel: “We’ve made it a priority, this [den Offline-Modus] to be made available as soon as possible. For those of you who are unable to play due to inconsistent internet connections or the like, we apologize for the inconvenience. We expect the offline game to be available sometime in the next few days, but maybe sooner.”
