How to use the cheats in Doom?
Using the cheats in Doom is relatively simple. All you have to do is enter the respective key combination directly in the game to activate the codes. Apart from that, there are still different command line parameters, but more on that below.
What cheat codes are there for Doom?
In our list, we show you below which cheats are available in Doom and what you get from them:

IDDQD | Make yourself invulnerable. |
IDKFA | You get all weapons, full ammo and all keys. |
IDFA | All monsters die. |
IDSPISPOPD | You can walk through walls. |
IDCHOPPERS | You get the chainsaw. |
IDDT | Shows you all walls with the first input and all enemies with the second input. Map must be activated. |
IDCLEVxx | Jump to the desired level. Replace the first x with a number from 1 to 3 (episode) and the second x with a number from 1 to 9 (episode). |
IDMYPOS | Shows you your position. |
IDBEHOLDA | Adds to the map automatically. |
IDBEHOLDI | you become invisible. |
IDBEHOLDR | You will receive a protective suit. |
IDBEHOLDV | You become briefly invulnerable. |
IDBEHOLDS | Activates berserk mode. |
IDBEHOLDV | Activates night vision for a short time. |
You can also add various parameters to the game’s command line and thus achieve different results.

-episode x | Selects a specific episode, replacing x with a number from 1 to 3. |
-loadgame x | Loads a saved game directly. Replaces x with a number from 1 to 6. |

-record file.lmp | You can create a recording of a level. |
-skill x | Choose a difficulty level, replace x with a number from 1 to 4. |
-warp xx -devparm | Jumps directly to an episode and level. Replace the first x with the episode (1 to 3) and the second x with a level (1 to 9). |
– warp xx | From version 1.666: Jumps directly to an episode and a level. Replace the first x with the episode (1 to 3) and the second x with a level (1 to 9). |
-file x.wad | Loads an additional file (extra level). |
