It’s been almost a year since we last talked about Fallout: London – a promising fan mod that leaves the classic setting of America behind for the capital of England. The developers of the Fallout 4 rework have now released 18 atmospheric minutes from the beginning of the mod on Youtube. The start of the game relies on well-known Fallout peculiarities, but also on original ideas:

In addition to a brand new setting of the Fallout world with matching factions, there are other novelties. Instead of vaults, there are so-called Pindar stations, while the Pip-Boy becomes “Attaboy”. The latter isn’t attached to the wrist, but is a device that the character holds in their hand and even blows into briefly before plugging it into a console – like old game cartridges!
The video doesn’t show many fights, but instead of giant nuclear cockroaches, there are mutated mega mice. One fact already shows that the story teased in the gameplay shown is promising: Bethesda has clawed an author of the mod who was responsible for the story of Fallout: London.
