Listen up, Elden Ring bastards: wash your bloody armor with soap
Honorably defeated all opponents, but the chic clothes were once again soiled with blood – who doesn’t know that? Well, Elden Ring fans should be familiar with it. Ranni’s snow-white outfit, for example, can be dyed all red with a proper carnage. But did you know that the game actually puts soap in your hands to clean you up again? In a hilarious video, an Elden Ring fan discovers the feature and is completely amazed.
Soap actually works – like soap!
It’s all about this: A funny one tik tok sees Twitch streamer Dovehkiin ranting about the Elden Ring character’s fully bloodied robes. In the chat, a person asks:
In a subtitle, Dovehkiin explains:
I thought he was joking.
The Elden Ring fan then checks the inventory and finds – a bar of soap. Most of you will probably have collected the item at some point. But did you know that it’s really for your in-game personal hygiene? Dovehkiin uses the item and lo and behold, bubbles appear, leaving the outfit sparkling clean.
You can see what it looks like in this video, for example:

Easy to miss: Dovehkiin will probably not be the only person who has not yet discovered the purpose of the soap. With so many items in the game, it’s easy to lose track.
More on Elden Ring:
This is the item
The item for anyone who wants to stay clean is really just called “soap,” plain and simple. The description says it’s made from mushroom juice. Hm, okay, that might not sound like a fragrant product, but at least the cleansing isn’t just for fashion, it also slightly alleviates the toxin load.
You can buy the soap at the dealer banks of the Siofra buy or make them yourself. You need this for that Nomadic Warrior’s Handbook and two melted mushrooms.
In this video we look at the success of Elden Rings and compare it to the Dark Souls series:
Elden Ring vs Dark Souls – Why is the new game so much more successful?
Well-intentioned advice: As the description continues, it becomes clear that FromSoftware knows its Fashion Souls Pappenheimer, because it says:
Never forget: Outer impurity works its way in and ends up polluting your mind.
Exactly. If you spend hours working towards a chic outfit, you also want to wear it proudly. Who can really concentrate on the fight when he or she feels like a grubby bastard and the armor just doesn’t shine anymore. Although… From time to time such a soiled outfit can also be very stylish, right?
Which Elden Ring type are you? Shimmering armor and always soap at the start or do you like bloodied and wild?
