TikTok is targeting the gaming industry with a big push

According to reports, the Chinese social media app wants tik tok have a say in the gaming industry in the future. It should be possible to play small games directly in the app. Also the interaction with the content creators should be made possible.

The company hopes to do this higher advertising revenue and would like to massively increase the time users spend on the platform. The first tests are to be in South East Asia already running. The attempt to strengthen customer loyalty through the implementation of mobile games is not entirely new. Similar plans are also pursuing Netflix and Meta.
