With PS Plus Premium you will soon be able to play some PS1 titles and some of them even get double trophies.

With PS Plus Premium you will soon be able to play some PS1 titles and some of them even get double trophies.

The new PS Plus is in the starting blocks. Little by little we are learning more and more details about the new PlayStation subscription. For example, some trophy lists for older games that you can play with the PS Plus Premium subscription are now going online. Now it’s clear: Not all PS1 titles will have trophies, but some of them will give you the chance to claim them twice, on PS4 and PS5.

PS Plus: Even more trophy lists for PS1 classics have surfaced

That’s what it’s about: Tiers are also coming with the new PS Plus, giving you access to PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PS5 games. However, the full program is reserved for the most expensive version called PS Plus Premium. Then you can also play PS1 classics and stream PS3 titles, for example. New Trophy Lists: The 23-year-old PS1 game Siphon Filter even has trophies thanks to the new PS Plus Premium subscription, as we reported recently. Now it turns out that this will also be the case for some other titles – but not for all. According to Sony’s PlayStation Blog ist this is a purely optional decision for developer studios.

For some games that will certainly be the case and now there are several more lists of new trophies for old games. Take Wild Arms, for example, which boasts an extensive list of trophies when it’s also available on PS4 and PS5 thanks to PS Plus. 38 pieces await you in total. The following titles already have confirmed trophy lists (via destructoid):

Two is Better: It should be particularly interesting, especially for trophy hunters, that all of these titles give you a double rain of trophies if you play through them on both PS4 and PS5. The trophy lists should each be separate and can then be tapped twice. However, you should exercise caution until there is also official confirmation.

What do you think of new trophies for old titles? Do you get the duplicate lists then?
