Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – Activision announces release date and other details about the shooter
Publisher Activision and developer Infinity Ward have the upcoming offshoot of the well-known multiplayer series Call of Duty officially given a concrete release date. Accordingly appears Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at the October 28, 2022 for the different platforms.
The corresponding teaser trailer, which was filmed on a huge container ship and a port with the help of a drone, was spectacularly designed. Within a dizzying flight, the different characters that will appear in Modern Warfare are shown.

More specifically, in the teaser trailer, the entire Task Force 141 shown. The protagonists in Modern Warfare 2 consist largely of well-known figures, such as the iconic one Captain John Price or John “Soap” MacTavish.
You can see all five people in the following tweet. Only Alejandro Vargas will not be known to series veterans as this one is new to Task Force 141.
Those responsible have not yet shared any further details about the plot and the underlying setting with the public. However, it is assumed that Modern Warfare in Colombia and/or Singapore will play and the story revolves around the global fight against drug cartels turns.
So now we know that the next entry of the CoD brand will be released on October 28th, 2022. The following platforms and the PC are served: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. Despite the acquisition of Activision by Microsoft, at least “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” will remain a multiplatform title.
