Man Shows Off $500,000 PC Setup – Twitch Streamer Desperately Asks “What Do You Need This For?”

You can spend a lot of money on technology, especially as a technology enthusiast. But Twitch streamer Mizkif now came across a setup that left him speechless.

Who is the person you are talking about? Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo was still on the road as a cameraman for the controversial Twitch streamer Ice Poseidon in 2018. Today, the 27-year-old himself is one of the biggest streamers on the platform. It was only recently that Mizkif hit the headlines after turning down a fairly lucrative deal.

The streamer has over 2 million followers on Twitch. He streams in Just Chatting, among other things, but recently also showed games like Mario Kart or Counter Strike.

In one of his recent streams, Mizkif watched various videos of viewers taking small room tours of their rooms and showing their PC setups.

A spectator attracted attention with a $500 donation – because he really wanted Mizkif to take a look at his setup.

Cameras, monitors, PCs and lights – “Why?”

Mizkif addressed the viewer who claimed to have the best room of all. He asked via Twitter: “Who does setups better than me? I’m waiting.”

Then Mizkif felt challenged. He doubted any spectator could have a better setup than himself. So he watched the video.

The viewer shows that: The video shows a kind of production room, which is filled with unusual lighting and a lot of technology. The viewer points out various technical gimmicks, but also really expensive devices that he uses for his streams.

Twitch streamer is stunned by this technology overkill

This is how Mizkif reacts: The room of “SniperPanda” definitely caught Mizkif off guard. Again and again he looks in disbelief at what he is being shown: “Why the hell do you have leaves and trees in your room,” he asks. The sheer number of cameras shocks the streamer: “What the hell are you going to do? Want to film your head, shoulders, knees and toes? What’s the point?

The viewer has more cameras than Mizkif’s entire production company, says the streamer: “I didn’t know that cameras were growing. He reaps these cameras,” Mizkif comments on the camera garden. All the monitors also irritate him: “What’s the reason? What do you need a TV on the floor for?

For the streamer, the room just offers too much of everything: “I would always prefer my setup. Instead of these antennas, soundboard, keyboard. It’s a waste of money,” says Mizkif: “I don’t want to be mean. Do your thing. But that looks like so much work. I just think it’s not necessary. You have more cameras than the entire production of OTK. What good is that?”

For Mizkif, all the technology is pointless: “It’s probably worth a good half a million dollars,” the streamer estimates. From his point of view, it doesn’t need it at all: “Is that better? no But man, you’ve got a lot of technique. If you ever have a garage sale let me know.

There is also a lack of understanding in the comments as to why you need so much high-end technology at all.

What is the setup good for? In his stream, Mizkif is still looking for the viewer to find out who that actually is. The viewer turns out to be “Neon Sniper Panda” – a streamer who is active on Twitch himself.

He also has more than a million followers on the platform, but his viewership is in a much lower range. In his production room, he primarily produces a podcast – with other streamers, among other things, but also with e-girls.

“I always say other people have streams, we have productions,” he commented on his setup at the start of the video. He also responded to Mizkif’s criticism on Twitter:
