Pokemon GO: Complete the Collector's Challenge from the Alola to Alola Event - Here's how

The “Alola to Alola” event started today in Pokémon GO and, in addition to new event quests, it also brings you a collector’s challenge. We at MeinMMO have looked at the tasks that await you and tell you how you can best solve the collector’s challenge.

What are the tasks? In celebration of the current “Alola to Alola” event to mark the end of the Alola season, Niantic has unlocked a new Collector’s Challenge and 5 special event field researches for you.

We have summarized below where you get the tasks, what you have to consider when solving them and what rewards await you.

When is the Alola to Alola event running? The Alola Season Closing Event runs from May 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time to May 31, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. local time.

The Collector’s Challenge for the Alola to Alola event

Just in time for the start of the Alola to Alola event, the new Collector’s Challenge has been made available to you in-game. You can find these in the “Today” view, which you can access by clicking on the binoculars in the game. You have time throughout the event to solve the task.

However, don’t forget to collect the reward before the end of the event, otherwise it will expire. You must collect the following Pokémon to solve the challenge:

  • mangu pector
  • trumpet
  • Arboretos
  • kitty
  • marikeck
  • tragosso
  • Alola Rattusk
  • toucan

Reward: Once you’ve collected all of the Pokémon, you’ll receive 15,000 experience points (XP), 15 Ultra Balls, and an encounter with Wuffels.

You have to collect these monsters

This is how you can solve the collector’s challenge

For most of the Pokémon you need for the Gathering Challenge, you’ll find that you can’t find them in the wild or in raids. In addition, these monsters are marked with a special icon in the overview.

These Pokemon are evolutions. Only Alolan Rattbratz and Tragosso can be caught in the wild.

You have to note that: In order for you to be able to solve the task, you must therefore further develop the original forms (Mangunior, Peppeck, Bauz, Flamiau and Robball) accordingly. If you have done that, the respective monster is considered collected in the challenge and is ticked off in the overview.

You can currently find the pre-developments of the Pokémon you are looking for more often in the wild. But these monsters can also be found in the new event field research.
